Former residents of The Mount have reported unexplained noises and sounds and sightings of figures in period dress throughout the house. In early 2009, the TV show Ghost Hunters filmed an episode at The Mount, and over the course of three days reported audio and visual evidence of paranormal activity, such as the sounds of footsteps in empty rooms, and disembodied voices.
